Tucson , Ariz. ?C The Arizona soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 16 BYU on Saturday night at Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium in the Wildcatsˇ? final non-conference game of the season.? With the loss the Wildcats fall to 5-6 overall, as the Cougars improve to 9-0-2.

BYU scored the only goal of the game 8:14 into the first half off of a penalty kick by Katie Larkin, her ninth goal of the season.

Arizona had 11 shots in the game, including six shots on goal, but couldnˇ?t get any past BYU goal keeper Erika Woodbury, who finished the game with six saves.? Sophomore Analisa Marquez led Arizona with three shots, including two shots on goal.

BYU had eight shots in the game, including three shots on goal.

Freshman goal keeper Danielle Nicolai finished the game with two saves.

Arizona will open Pac-10 Conference play on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m., when the Wildcats host Washington State.
