EUGENE, Ore. - The Arizona Volleyball team defeated No. 13 Oregon 3-2 in Eugene Saturday evening to earn its first road sweep, remain undefeated on the road and improve to 14-4 overall.

UA was led by outside hitters Tiffany Owens and Courtney Karst who accounted for 45 of Arizona's 65 total kills.  Setter Paige Weber was her dominant self with 54 assists, nine digs and four kills.

The win, UA's fourth straight, was the second time in as many nights that Arizona crawled out of a 2-1 hole to force five sets and ultimately win the match.  It was also UA's first win over a ranked team in 2010.

Outside hitter Whitney Dosty did not play for Arizona after aggravating her ankle against OSU the night before.

After Owens went for a career-best 32 kills against the Beavers Friday, hitter Karst followed that up by tallying 22 kills (new career-high) on 50 swings for a hitting percentage of .320.

Karst also recorded six block assists to go along with Cursty Jackson's 10 blocks and seven kills.

On the defensive side, Owens led the way for the Wildcats, recording 26 digs (new career-best) as UA out-dug the Ducks, 71-61.The Cats also led UO in hitting percentage with a .298 clip compared to just .219.

Next weekend, Arizona will host UCLA and USC at the McKale Center on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.  Both matches will begin at 7 p.m.
