San Jose , Calif. ?C ?Oregon State (12-18) used a 13-0 second half scoring run to pull away from Arizona and earn a 46-31 win over Wildcats in the first round of the State Farm Pac-10 Tournament on Friday night in HP Pavilion.? Arizona ends its season with 10-20 overall record.

Arizonaˇ?s 31 points is the lowest point total in school history.? The previous low was 36 points scored against Northern Arizona on Feb. 10, 1973.

As a team, the Wildcats shot 27.3 percent (12-44) from the field, and finished with eight steals, four blocks and 26 turnovers.? Arizona outrebounded the Beavers 36-33, and held OSU to a 30.4 percent shooting percentage (17-56).

Individually for Arizona, junior Amina Njonkou led the team with 15 points and nine rebounds.? Freshman Tasha Dickey added seven points, and freshman Ify Ibekwe posted five points and 11 rebounds.

Tiffany Ducker and Ashley Allen led OSU with 12 points apiece.

Arizona started off with a 4-0 lead eight minutes into the game, as Oregon State missed its first 11 shots from the field.? OSU tied the game up at 9-9 at the 5:20 mark, and the two teams went into halftime tied at 14-14.

Arizona shot 25 percent (5-20) from the field in the first half, holding OSU to an 18.2 percent mark (6-33), as the Wildcats finished with 15 first half turnovers.

The Wildcats scored a basket on their first possession in the first minute of the second half, but OSU rattled off eight-straight points to take a 22-16 lead at the 16:21 mark.? Arizona went six minutes without a field goal until a layup by Njonkou cut the OSU lead to 22-19 at the 13:27 mark.?

A three by Tasha Dickey with 12:25 left to play tied the game up at 22-22, as the Wildcats held the Beavers scoreless for over four minutes.? OSU went on a 13-0 scoring run over the next 6:20, taking a 35-22 lead with 6:05 left to play in the game.? The Beavers never looked back after that, and ran away down the stretch with a 15-point win.

Game Notes:? ?Senior guard Ashley Whisonant and sophomore forward Rheya Neabors did not make the trip and did not play in Fridayˇ?s game against Oregon State.? The two players were suspended for violating team rules.
