SOPHOMORE (1999-2000): Advanced to the 2000 NCAA Championships and earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 100 butterfly... Finished 13th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.25... Placed 26th in the 200 fly (2:15.10)... At the 2000 Pac-10 Championships, finished first in the bonus final of the 100y fly (55.94) and second in the bonus final of the 200 fly (2:02.01)... Swam the third leg (butterfly; 55.61) of the Arizona "B" relay in the 400 medley relay and the third leg (butterfly; 25.21) of the Arizona "B" relay in the 200 medley relay at Pac-10s... Has the school's third fastest times in the 100y fly (54.69) and the 200y fly (2:00.97).
FRESHMAN (1998-99): Competed in 11 dual meets for the Wildcats in 1999... At the 1999 Pac-10 Championships, competed in the 100 butterfly, finishing seventh in the consolation final (15th overall; 55.85) and also competed in the 200 fly (DQ)... Finished the season with the fourth-fastest Arizona time of the year in the 100 fly (55.85) and the fifth-fastest 200 fly time (2:05.50 vs. ASU).
HIGH SCHOOL: Holds the national record for the country of Cyprus in the 100m butterfly, with a time of 1:02.04 and in the 50m butterfly with a time of 29.11... Placed first overall at the "Games of the Small States of Europe" (May 1999, Lightenstein) in the 100m butterfly and placed second in the 200m butterfly.
