CORVALLIS, Ore. ?- The No. 6 Arizona volleyball team closed out regular season play with a 3-0 sweep of Oregon State at Gill Coliseum tonight. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 22-5 overall and 14-4 in the Pac-10, good for second place.
Arizona hit .300 on the match and held the Beavers to a Wildcat opponent season-low .025. Arizona also out-blocked Oregon State 16.5 to 7.
“We played much better tonight,” Head Coach David Rubio said. “Offensively, we were a lot more diverse than we were last night. We executed more consistently.”
