EVANSTON, Ill. - The University of Arizona men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2010 dual meet season atop the final men's CSCAA / CollegeSwimming.com Division I Poll.

 

The Wildcats clawed their way up the ranks with each successive poll before cementing their position at the top with wins over Texas, Stanford and California. Those three teams finished second, third, and fourth respectively.

 

In the poll, Arizona earned 529 total votes including 19 first-place votes to vault to the top. 

 

This week, UA will head to Long Beach, Calif. for the Pac-10 Championships at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool.  Men's NCAA Championships will be held this year from March 25-27 in Columbus, Ohio.

 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, Inc. (CSCAA), is the oldest coaches association in the United States of America.
