TUCSON, Ariz. - Divers from all over the nation competed today in the first two events of the 2nd Annual Wildcat Invitational at the Kasser Family Pool. ASU's Cameron Bradshaw claimed the men's one meter title and Margaret Hostage from Stanford took first place in the women's three meter dive.

 

Wildcat junior Ben Grado took the silver title in the men's one meter event with a score of 355.10, a close second to Bradshaw's 357.25. Grado scored first place in the event's preliminaries with a score of 347.60.

 

Freshman Cody Montgomery showed potential today when he placed eighth in both the finals and preliminaries. His final score was 252.55.

 

Arizona's Ainsley Oliver competed today for the women, but did not place in the finals.

 

Tomorrow's events are the men's three meter and women's one meter dives. The events will begin at 12 p.m.
