TUCSON - The University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team picked up its second-straight tournament win with a 19-stroke victory at the UNLV Invitational on Tuesday. The three-round, two-day event was held at the Cascata Golf Club (par 72, 6,200 yards).
"I'm very proud of our team," head coach Laura Ianello said. "It's rare to have all of your players in the top 10 and to have two as co-medalists. It was a pretty special week for us. The greens and course were extremely difficult and I'm proud of how our team handled the conditions. We are getting better each week and working hard. I'm a very proud coach."
