TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona women’s basketball coach Joan Bonvicini today announced the hiring of Keyshia Conner as the Coordinator of Women’s Basketball Operations. Conner has spent the past six and a half years working in various positions for the Admissions Department at The University of Arizona.

"We’re very excited to have Keyshia on board," Bonvicini said. "I think she’ll be a tremendous asset to our women’s basketball program."

Conner began working in the UA Admissions Department in November of 1998 as a senior receptionist. Three years later, she was promoted to senior credentials evaluator. She has spent just under two years as an admissions coordinator for minority student recruitment.

A Cholla High School graduate, Conner earned a bachelor of science degree in family studies and human development from the University of Arizona in 2003.

Conner will begin on June 25. She replaces Katie Brown, who is leaving the position to pursue law school.
