Fall Camp Central
VIDEO: Stoops addresses media on Wednesday

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona football team wrapped up pre-camp activities on Wednesday with an official reporting day, with all 105 players participating in various team activities.

"I feel good about our preparation heading into camp from the overall standpoint of the team," head coach Mike Stoops said on the eve of Fall Camp. "I've said it before, but I feel like this is our best and deepest team that we have had here."

Wednesday's morning checklist for players included individual photo shoots for media and marketing purposes, interviews with local media members, physicals and equipment check-in for veteran players. Among the photo stations was a green screen room where players posed to record their video board displays seen in Arizona Stadium on game days.

In the afternoon, players checked into the Graham-Greenlee dorm rooms on campus, which will serve as the temporary home to all players as Fall Camp begins. Later, all players, coaches and support staff members attended a team meeting that included various speakers, most notably from UA's compliance office going over NCAA rules and regulations, as well as paperwork.

Following the meeting, the team was set for a bowling outing at a local alley before returning to campus for dinner. Rest is undoubtedly next on the agenda for the Wildcats as they gear up for their first practice of the 2009 season at 6:15 a.m. at Salpointe Catholic High School.

Arizona is set to host five of their first six practices at Salpointe Catholic High School before heading to Fort Huachuca on August 13. The Wildcats also hold some camp practices at the Rincon Vista Complex.

Practices are open to the media and public, but times and locations are subject to change due to weather and/or field conditions.
