TUCSON, Ariz. ?- The No. 55 Arizona men’s tennis team (8-12, 2-10 Pac-10) qualified one doubles team along with one singles alternate to the NCAA singles and doubles championships later this month, in College Station, Texas.

In doubles competition, the No. 20 pair of senior Colin O'Grady and junior Roger Matalonga earned a selection after compiling an 18-10 record through the 2004-05 season. The Wildcat tandems earned an at-large bid and await a First-Round opponent once the bracket is filled following the team championship.

In singles competition, No. 56 Matalonga gained an alternate bid and will not know if a slot opens until the days before the singles competition is scheduled to begin.

The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 25-30 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center, following the conclusion of the team championship (May 21-24).
