TUCSON, Ariz.- The Arizona men's golf team shot a 24-over-par first round to put the Cats in 18th place, 25 strokes behind the University of Alabama, who lead the event after day one.

Sophomore Roberto Galletti led the Cats with a four-over round of 76, which put him in a tie for 47th place individually. Jorge Campillo of Indiana and Matthew Swan of Alabama each shot rounds of 68 to tie them for first place.

All five Wildcats shot above their season average in the first round.

Tyler Neal shot a six-over 78. Tarquin MacManus shot a 79 to put him in a tie for 73rd along with teammate Jonathan Kahn. Brad Nicholson's 84 (+12) put him in 89th place.

The Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational is played at Isleworth Golf and Country Club, a par-72, 7,544-yard course.
