SAMMAMISH, Wash. ?- The Arizona women’s golf dropped to fifth place after the second round of play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Tuesday.  The Wildcats completed the day with a total score of 614 (+38).


The second round proved to be tough for all teams, as the tournament leader, Stanford, completed the day with a nine-over par 297.  Arizona shot 313 (+25) for the day.


Junior Mary Jacobs is tied for 12th after carding a second round total of 78 (+6).  The Godfrey, Illinois, native has a seven-over par 151 after two rounds of play.


Sophomore Amanda Wilson moved into a tie for 20th with a total score of 154 (+10).  Wilson shot a three-over 75 in the second round.


Sophomore Adriana Zwanck and junior Alison Walshe carded identical totals of 82 (+10) in the second round.  Zwanck is tied for 28th after two rounds of play with a total score of 156 (+12).  Walshe is one stroke behind Zwanck and is tied for 30th.


Senior Rachel Gavin moved up eight places to tie for 68th after two rounds of play, shooting a six-over par 78 on Tuesday.  Gavin has a total score of 164 (+20) through 36 holes.


The final round of the tournament begins tomorrow, with a tee time of 10 a.m.
