Arizona: 3L ... UA’s defense will have one focus on middle-level stalwart Larsen, a three-year starter, in 2007... Second-team All-Pacific-10 honors as a junior in 2006, with first-team Academic All-Pac-10 citation to go with it... ESPN the Magazine All-District VIII academic honors as well... Team leader in 2006 with 89 tackles, plus team-best 10.5 tackles for loss including two sacks... Had interception at Oregon, recovered three fumbles to lead squad and forced two others, plus knocked down three passes... Will have been a starter at both ends of a seven-year span... If not for a sophomore injury he'd be a lock to hit UA's all-time top 25 tackles chart, and needs 98 to get there... Returned in 2005 after a Mormon mission and picked up where he left off, as a starter... Banged up in preseason 2005 and missed the first two games, but started the last six of his eight appearances, finishing with a linebacking corps’ high of 51 tackles including career-high 17 in Arizona’s victory at Oregon State... Earned second-team Academic All-Pac-10 honors in 2005... Returned to Arizona at mid-year in 2005, but was hurt early in spring and had knee surgery in April ... His play as a true freshman in all 12 games in 2002 showed great promise ... Finished with 41 tackles including 3.5 for a loss and two sacks, plus broke up three passes ... Started seven games at the whip linebacker spot in UA’s modified eagle-flex system...
