JUNIOR (2000-2001): At the 2001 NCAA Championships, earned two first-team All-America honors in the 400y freestyle relay and the 800y freestyle relay... Placed third in the 400y freestyle relay with a time of 3:17.26... Finished fourth in the 800y freestyle relay (7:11.49)... At the 2001 Pac-10 Championships, a member of the first place 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:18.39... Came in second in the 800 freestyle relay (7:12.26)... Placed sixth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.25... Swam to a seventh place finish in the 200y freestyle (1:49.11)... Finished 11th in the 500y freestyle touching the wall in a time of 4:55.00... At the end of the 2001 season, holds the school's fastest times in the 400 freestyle relay (3:17.26) and the 800 freestyle relay (7:11.49)... Holds the Wildcats' second-fastest time in the 1650 freestyle (16:45.29), the third-fastest time in the 1000 freestyle (10:12.34) and the 500 freestyle (4:55.00), the fourth-fastest time in the 100 freestyle (50.25) and the fifth-fastest time in the 200 freestyle (1:49.11)... Earned Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team honors.

SOPHOMORE (1999-2000): At the 2000 NCAA Championships, placed 46th in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:19.32... At the 2000 Pac-10 Championships finished sixth in the finals of the 500 free, with a new PR time of 4:48.41... Also set another PR as she finished fifth in the mile (1,650 free: 16:34.81)... Has the school's second-fastest time in the 800m free with a time of 8:49.72... Owns the schools fourth-fastest time in the 400m free (4:17.48)... Holds the school's fifth-fastest time in the 200m free (2:02.20)... Earned honorable mention honors as a member of the 1999-2000 Pac-10 All-Academic Team

1999 WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES: On the island of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, (July 8-13), Kilian swam the third leg (2:04.74) for the gold-medal-winning 800-meter freestyle relay squad, while Arizona teammate sophomore Katie Zimbone swam the leadoff leg (2:03.19) of that same relay to take home a gold medal of her own.

FRESHMAN (1998-99): At the 1999 NCAA Championships earned an honorable mention All-America selection in the 1,650 freestyle, finishing 13th overall, in a time of 16:31.97... The time registered as the third-fastest Arizona time of the year... At NCAAs, competed in the 500 free, finishing 23rd in a time of 4:50.00 and finished 30th in the 200 free (1:49.37)... At the 1999 Pac-10 Championships, finished fifth in the 1,650 free (16:39.51) and seventh in the finals of the 500 free (4:50.19)... Recorded the third-fastest 1,000 free time of the year (9:59.59) and the third-fastest 500 free time (4:48.54).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Vista High School in Vista, Calif., for her freshman and sophomore years... Swam under coach Scott Hill and received two varsity letters... Holds every school swimming record except for the 100 breast stroke at Vista High School... Set a San Diego Section record in 200-yard free (1:49.25) as a freshman... Attended Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, Calif., for her junior and senior years... Swam under coach Ro Davis and earned two varsity letters... Set Central Coast Section record in 500-yard free (4:45.99)... Holds Palo Alto HS records in the 200 and the 500 free... Finished fifth in the 200 free (2:03.80) at the Senior Nationals in the spring of 1997... Finished 13th (2:02.83) in the 200 free at Senior Nationals in summer of 1998... Finished eighth in the 800 free (9:06), second in the 1,500 free (17:14) and 24th in the 800 free (8:50.36) at the Junior Nationals in the summer of 1994... Finished third in the 100 free (58.15) at Junior Nationals in summer the 1995... Member of the U.S. Junior National Team in 1996-97... Participated in the 1996 Olympic Trials in the 200 free.

Father is a graduate of Iowa State University and LACC, while her mother is a graduate of Chico State and received her master's from Louisiana State University... Father is a retired chiropractic doctor... Lifetime member of the California Scholastic Federation... Received a distinguished scholar award upon graduation from high school... National Honor Society member... U.S. Swimming High School Scholar-Athlete Award... Played piano for nine years... Hobbies include playing the piano, singing, reading, surfing and shopping... Conducted private swimming lessons for handicapped children during the summer of 1998.
