TUCSON--Jenny Finch threw her sixth career no-hitter and struck out 10 to help lead top-ranked Arizona to a six-inning 8-0 victory over New Mexico State (6-14) in the finale of the Pepsi Arizona Softball Classic.

Jackie Coburn's grand slam home run highlighted a UA five-run first. Lovie Jungle led off with a single and Courtney Fossatti and Jennie Finch walked to load the bases, and Leneah Manuma drove in a run with a ground ball to second. Jenny Gladding walked to re-load them and Coburn nailed an opposite-field liner to right.

The Cats (12-2) added two more in the second with RBI hits by Manuma and Gladding. Manuma ended the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth.

The no-hitter was Finch's first this season. She extended her personal winning streak to 48 games, two shy of the NCAA record. Arizona extended its school-record homefield winning streak to 51 games.
