overall record to 32-9 on the year and keeps them a game ahead of ASU to lead the Conference of Champions with a 8-2 mark in league play.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The Beavers fall to 33-14 on the year and 5-4 in Pac-10 contests.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">As impressive as Fox&rsquo;s 3-for-3, two RBI, two run performance was, <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Arizona</st1:place></st1:State> pitcher Taryne Mowatt was equally remarkable in the circle.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The Wildcat junior gave up two hits and a solo home run in the first inning, before settling down to strike out the next seven batters she faced.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Mowatt did not allow a hit and let only two Beavers on base over the final 6.1 innings of the game.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She finished with eight strikeouts to just one walk and two hits allowed.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The win brings her record to 24-7 on the year and lowers her ERA to 1.66 with an even more notable 1.23 ERA in Pac-10 games.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">After OSU&rsquo;s Cambria Miranda gave the Beavers a 1-0 lead in the first, the Wildcats quickly equaled their Women&rsquo;s College World Series counterpart with a run of their own in the first.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Caitlin Lowe led off the game with a single, stole second and scored on Fox&rsquo;s second career triple and first three bagger of 2007.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Two innings later Fox hit a towering fly ball off the top of the left field wall for a double to lead off the bottom of the third and scored in a Callista Balko single up the middle.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"> </P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Fox struck again in the fifth with a one-out solo home run to give UA its third run of the contest.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The Wildcats tallied seven hits off of OSU&rsquo;s Brianne McGowan (20-8) who went the distance in a losing effort.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Up Next: </B><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Arizona</st1:State></st1:place> will host No. 15 Oregon on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at noon at Hillenbrand Stadium.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Game Notes:<o:p></o:p></B></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in;
