Four University of Arizona women's soccer players have earned Academic All-Pac-10 honors, announced the league office this week. Sophomore defender Shannon Pidd (Tucson, Ariz./Catalina Foothills HS) is a second team Academic All-Pac-10 selection, while three other team members have earned honorable mention laurels.

Senior defender Lindsey Greenwood (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley HS), sophomore defender Althea Jones (Pickering, Ontario/St. Mary Catholic Secondary) and sophomore midfielder Lisa Kosena (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek HS) are all honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10 selections.

The four Wildcats earning Academic All-Pac-10 honors this year is the most since Arizona had six honorees at the end of the 2000 season.

To qualify for Academic All-Pac-10 selection, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and must be a starter or significant contributor.
