Women's Tennis Players Selected for Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. - Three individual players and two doubles teams from the Arizona women's tennis team have been selected to participate in the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships on Oct. 4-12th in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

No. 18 junior Maja Mlakar will participate in the event's main draw. No. 29 junior Dianne Hollands has been selected for the qualifying round, while senior Debbie Larocque will start in the pre-qualifying round.

Mlakar also teams up with sophomore transfer Iza Ferreira as a doubles team for the qualifying round. Hollands and junior Kelly Perry will also compete as a doubles team, but the duo will start in the pre-qualifying round.

The pre-qualifying round begins on Oct. 4th. The main draw round will start on Oct. 9th and will conclude on Oct. 12th. The tournament is the first national championship event of the season and will feature the top female players in NCAA Division I tennis.
