Two Cats Named to Pac-10 All-Conference

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Sophomores Natasha Marks and Sarah Landsman were named to the 2010 Pac-10 Women's Tennis All-Conference Honorable Mention list, Thursday. This is the pair's second time on the All-Conference list.

Marks finished off her second season as a Wildcat with a team-high 11-10 record in dual match singles, all in the No. 1 position, and finished off the season with a 24-17 overall singles record. The Nottingham, England native also leads the team with overall doubles wins at 21-11. Marks is currently ranked at No. 109 in the ITA singles rankings. This is Marks' second time named to the All-Conference team, as she was listed to the Second Team in 2009.

Landsman wrapped the season with a team high 26-10 overall singles wins, including a 10-game win streak. The Syosset, New York native finished off with an 11-7 dual match doubles record, and notched a perfect 3-0 record playing at the No. 3 position. This is the sophomore's second straight season on the Honorable Mention listing.

"Natasha and Sarah did a great job for us this season." Said head coach Vicky Maes, "To see them recognized by the other coaches in the conference is a great honor and a testament to their commitment to leadership on the team."
