TUCSON, Ariz. - The second-ranked Arizona women's swimming and diving team rebounded from yesterday's loss to No. 1 Georgia by running away from the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, 158-107, Saturday at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. The win improved the Wildcats dual meet record to 6-1, 1-0 in the Pac-10.

The Wildcats dominated the meet by winning all 13 events that were contested, although five of the event victories were exhibition swims. Leading the charge for UA was senior All-American Trina Jackson who finished first in both the 100 fly (56.51) and the 100 free (52.86) and freshman Julie Manitt who captured titles in the 100 back (58.47) and the 200 back (2:05.98).

Arizona also gained valuable points in diving, by capturing first through fourth-place in the 1-meter competition and three of the top four spots in 3-meter. Wildcat senior Andrea Glass won the 1-meter title with a score of 305.025, while junior Adrian David was first in the 3-meter (329.85 points).

Both the Arizona men's and women's squads return to action next Friday, Jan. 21, as they battle the No. 5 California men and No. 5 women, beginning at 1:00 p.m. PST in Berkeley.
