Frank Davis was named as assistant strength and conditioning coach by Rich Rodriguez in December 2011 to join Chris Allen's staff. He brings NFL and collegiate football playing experience to the Wildcats' program.

In 2011, Davis helped direct youth football clinics in Panama and provided strength and conditioning programs for high school athletes. He was born in New York City and grew up in Panama.

A four-year letterman as an offensive lineman at South Florida from 2002-05, he earned second-team All-Big East honors his senior year. He played professionally for three years with the Detroit Lions, starting 11 games from 2006-08 and played in the United Football League, winning back-to-back championships.
