Finished 15th in the 100m back semifinals at the 2012 Olympic Trials...11-time All-American in two seasons at Arizona...Recorded the third fastest time in school history in the 100 backstroke while leading off the 400 medley relay with a 51.89.

2011-12: Five-time All-American at the NCAA Championships after posting runner-up finishes in the 200 medley relay, finishing second in the 400 medley relay, third in the 800 free relay and fourth in the 100 and 200 back...Posted personal best times in the 50 free and 200 free and an NCAA "A" cut in the 100 back at the Texas Invite...Earned honorable mention accolades on the Pac-12 All-Academic list.

2010-11: Came into the Arizona program with high expectations as a local Tucson swimmer and exceeded them...Scored in six events at the NCAA Championships highlighted by her relay swims...Helped UA's 400 medley relay take third overall with a 51.89 on the backstroke leg to lead it off...Earned points individually in both the 100 and 200 backstroke with 11th and 12th place results, respectively...Swam the third leg of Arizona's 400 and 800 free relays which were fourth and third, respectively, in the country...Set new personal bests in five different events in her first year.

High School: Standout prep swimmer at nearby Sabino high school...Tucson Citizen's Swimmer of the Year in 2007...State champion in the 100 free and 100 back in 09-10...Won state titles in 50 free and 100 back as a junior...member of Tucson Ford Aquatic Dealers as a youth...'08 Olympic Trials participant...Team captain for NCSA high school all-star team in Dublin, Ireland.

Why Arizona: I came to Arizona because I want to succeed, not only as an athlete but as a person. I'm looking forward to the relays in the upcoming season. I am excited to represent The University of Arizona. I hope to honor my family, friends, and team through everything I do in the next four years.
