Why Arizona? "I chose Arizona for the great tennis program and nice campus. Also the business school here is one of the best in the US."

Goals for 2009-10 season: "To try and play as well as possible after recovering from an injury. I'm really looking forward to the competition in the Pac-10. I hope I can help the team be competitive and win big matches."

On Coach Maes: "Vicky is an amazing person: she is the best player in Arizona tennis history but also has great human qualities. I have a tremendous respect for her because she knows a lot about tennis and life! Because she has been a college player and a coach for so long, she has a lot of experience and she freely shares it when we need it on and out the court. I have learned a lot with her this past year and a half and I'm really looking forward to start the season and see how good the team will be!"
