Coach Maes' Take: "The quiet but strong spirit on our team, Susan is meticulous in everything she does. She works hard every day, on and off the court. She gives of herself whenever asked and she never complains about anything. This is going to be Susie's year, I just know it. She has learned to not take life too seriously and is at her best when she relaxes on the court, especially in the doubles. Her game is a joy to watch. She truly has a feel for every shot. We expect her to be a key contributor this year."
