Tori Palmer was appointed as Head Coach of The University of Arizona Cheerleaders and Mascots on July 6, 2009.
Palmer comes to Arizona from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, where she was the Head Cheerleading Coach. On January 18, 2009 her team competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College National Competition placing fourth in the All-Girl Division II category.
Palmer graduated from the University at Albany in 2008 with a degree in History. She spent four years as a member of the co-ed cheerleading team serving as captain for three years. While at UAlbany she competed at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Championship placing in the Top-10 every year. She was the recipient of the Great Dane Spirit Award in 2008.
For the past seven years Palmer has been a cheer instructor and judge for NCA. She does choreography for several high school, all-star, and collegiate programs. Coach Palmer is looking forward to continuing her career at The University of Arizona.
