2002-03 Season: Earned All-America honors in three different events... 2003 NCAA runner-up in the 200 fly (1:42.62)... Was also seventh at the NCAA Championships in the 400 IM (3:47.01) and helped the 800 free relay to a 10th-place finish... At 2003 Pac-10 Championships, was fourth in the 200 fly (1:45.46), 13th in the 200 IM (1:49.65) and 19th in the 100 fly (48.97)... Had nine top-five finishes during dual meet competition... Won both the 200 fly and the 500 free and was second in the 200 IM against Arizona State... Finished first in both the 200 fly and the 500 free against California... Was second in the 200 fly and third in the 400 IM against Stanford... Won the 200 fly in a school-record time of 1:42.62 at the Texas Invitational... Also finished sixth in the 400 IM at that meet...

2001-02 Season: Earned honorable mention All-America honors by finishing ninth the 200 fly (1:43.93) at the 2002 NCAA Championships... At 2002 Pac-10 Championships, finished second in 200 fly (1:44.95), 10th in the 400 IM (3:51.47) and 15th in 500 free (4:27.29)... Won the 200 fly (1:44.50)... Also placed third at the Texas Invitational in 400 IM (3:52.21)... Place fifth in the 200 IM (1:53.93) against California... Won the 400 IM versus Texas (4:03.84)... Was runner-up in the 200 fly (1:48.18) against Arizona State...

2000-01 Season: At the 2001 NCAA Championships, finished seventh in the 200 fly (1:45.13), earning All-America honors... At the 2001 Pac-10 Championships, was fifth in the 200 fly (1:45.79), 12th in the 400 IM (3:54.53) and 13th in the 500 free (4:28.06)... Has the team's best time of the season in the 200 fly (1:44.59)...

National & International Competition -- 2001: Attended the World University Games in Beijing... Placed fourth in the 200m fly (1:59.33)... 2000: Competed in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, for Mexico... Swam the 200m butterfly and the 400m IM...
