FRESHMAN (2001-02): Earned All-America honors in 400y free relay when his team finished fifth in a time of 2:53.09...At 2002 Pac-10 Championships was a member of team that placed third in the 400y free relay (2:54.54)...Swam for 200y free relay team that achieved third place as they swam in 1:18.71...Placed second in the bonus final, 18th overall, in the 50y free when he touched the wall in 20.51...Placed eighth in 200 free with a time of 1:37.78...Member of sixth place 800y free relay team that finished in 6:42.03...Set a new personal best when he finished 15th in 100y free in 44.89...Member of third place team in 400y free relay which finished in 2:54.54... Fastest swimmer in 200y free at 1:37.78, also third fastest Wildcat swimmer in the 50y free for the 2001-02 season with his Pac-10 Championship time of 20.51...fourth fastest for the year in the 100y free (44.89).
