YEAR-BY-YEAR (2001): Attended the World University Games in Beijing... Placed fourth in the 200m fly with the time of 1:59.33.

FRESHMAN (2000-01): Earned one first team All-America selection at the 2001 NCAA Championships in the 200y fly, which he placed seventh with the time of 1:45.13... At the 2001 Pac-10 Championships, he finished fifth in the 200y fly at 1:45.79... Placed fourth, 12th overall, in the consolation final of the 400y IM, touching the wall at 3:54.53... In the consolation final of the 500y free he placed fifth (13th overall) with the time of 4:28.06... Finished the 2001 season as the fastest Wildcat in the 200y fly at 1:44.59.
