Men's Swimming Has Solid Opening Night at Pac-12s

The men's swim team opened the Pac-12 Championships with a pair of top-four showings in relay events

2011-12: Posted a third-place finish in the 200 free relay versus No. 15 Iowa...Earned a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, a third-place finish in the 400 free relay and a fourth-place finish in the 50 free versus No. 8 USC...Finished in second in the 200 free relay and fourth in the 50 free versus Wisconsin...Recorded a first-place finish in the 200 free relay and a second-place finish in the 50 free versus UNLV.

2010-11: Local freestyle swimmer from Tucson...Recorded a personal best time of 20.12 in the 50 free at the Pac-10 Championships in Long Beach, Calif...At the Texas Invitational in December, Amlee went a 44.82 in the 100 free for his fastest time in the event on the year.

Why Arizona: I came to the U of A because of the family environment. Everyone here really makes you feel welcome. For this season I want to get all my best times and get on at least one relay. I am looking forward for the Texas Invite because it will be our first taper meet together and really want to see what we can do.
