Arizona 2002-2003: Finished his junior season at Arizona with an overall record of 9-19... In fall competition, traveled to the team's three national tournaments, Napa Valley Fall Classic, ITA All-American and the Midland Collegiate Classic, as well as playing in the Omni Hotel ITA South Fall Region VIII Championships... Started the fall tournament schedule ranked No. 62 in the preseason polls... Competing in the ITA All-American, notched two victories in the qualifying rounds, which earned him a place in the main draw of 64 players... In the first round of the main draw, fell to Jonathon Chu of Harvard, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4... In dual match play, played solely on court No. 1, earning a 5-12 record... In the No. 1 spot, 11 of 17 opponents were ranked, including five ranked in the top 25... Was ranked No. 102 by the ITA at the beginning of the dual matches... During the spring, defeated two ranked opponents, No. 55 Carlos Palenica of UC Santa Barbara, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (4), and No. 112 Scott Lipsky of Stanford, 6-3, 6-3... Paired with partners Paul Warkentin and Daniel Andrus, finished with a doubles record of 5-13.

Arizona 2001-2002: Completed his sophomore season by compiling a singles record of 18-16... During fall play, finished with a 9-5 record, including a semifinal loss to fellow Wildcat Stephen Capriati, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, who went on to win the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate Tournament... In doubles fall play, finished with a record of 5-3, while being paired with Tom Lloyd and advanced to the semifinals of ITA/Southern California Fall Regional Championship, losing to the No. 2-seeded team from Pepperdine, 8-5... During the Pac-10 season, played all but one match in the No. 2 position for the Cats... Finished with an 8-11 record in the No. 2 position and won his only match in the No. 3 position... At the beginning of the spring schedule, Kim won eight straight matches, including a win over Ryan Moore from USC, 6-3, 5-7, def... Partnered with Tom Lloyd in doubles, the combination finished with a final record of 12-7, and 3-5 with partner Roeland Brateanu... Unranked at the beginning of the season, ended the year ranked No. 104.

Arizona 2000-2001: Finished his first season with an overall record of 22-10... Notched two impressive victories over ranked players from Stanford and Washington... Ended the season with a 6-9 mark with doubles partner Tom Lloyd... Played against the fifth-ranked team from UCLA... Finished fall play at 5-4... Picked up two wins by playing his way to the third round in flight one play at the San Diego All-College Invitational... Earned a victory and advanced to the third round of consolation play at the ITA Region VIII South Championship... In doubles play, with partner Steven Capriati, compiled a 4-3 record... The duo reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Region VIII-South Championships.
