Dan Berezowitz enters his fourth year on the UA staff and his second as football recruiting coordinator.
Berezowitz was director of football operations for John Mackovic from 2001-2003.
A 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, he has a dozen years' experience in college athletics. As the son of a 20-year collegiate football coach, he's been around the game for most of his life.
He manages all aspects of the football recruiting process and works with operations director Erick Harper in regard to compliance issues in recruiting.
Prior to joining the UA staff he served at the University of Texas, where he held an operations director position for Mack Brown's program from 1998-99.
Berezowitz was a four-year letterwinner at quarterback for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned a degree in athletic administration in 1994. He coached at UW-Whitewater as an assistant from 1992-94.
Upon graduation, Berezowitz spent four years at the University of North Carolina, with duties as director of video operations and the school's football center director.
He has college football bowl game experience with North Carolina at the 1994 Sun Bowl, the 1995 Carquest Bowl, and the 1996 and 1997 Gator Bowls; and with Texas at the 1998 Cotton Bowl.
Berezowitz and his wife, Jane, have four sons, twins Bryan and Brayden (5-1-98), Zachary (1-4-00) and Jordan (8-27-01) and a daughter, Alexa Grace (3-3-03).
