Farhat enters his fourth season with Mike Stoops' staff and serves as assistant director of football operations.

He joined the program in June 2008 after serving as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for three years at Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, helping in his first season as a recruiting aide.

In his position he helps with the administration of the program including advance contact for team travel operations, assisting with on-campus recruiting visits, management of the prospect database, and coordinating correspondence with prospective recruits and their families.

Additionally, he serves as the assistant director for UA's summer football camps.

Farhat, 26, was instrumental in the planning and coordination of Arizona's participation in the 2008 Las Vegas Bowl, the 2009 Holiday Bowl and the 2010 Alamo Bowl.

A graduate of Salpointe Catholic, Farhat lettered three years in football, and one year in baseball. He went on to play at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif., before returning to the UA. He earned a degree in communication and business management from the UA in 2008.

Farhat's sister, Tanya, was a member of Arizona's 1996 NCAA Champion softball team as a utility player appearing in 37 games.
