Former LPGA Tour player Jody Niemann-Dansie is the newest member of the University of Arizona coaching staff, having been named women's golf assistant coach on July 3, 2002. Niemann-Danise, who has more than 10 years of experience as a player and coach, played two seasons on the LPGA Tour.

A three-time all-Pac-10 selection at Arizona State, Niemann-Dansie was the 1999 USGA Public Links Champion. She won events in Michigan and California in 2000 on the SBC Futures Tour and earned her LPGA Tour card after finishing 23rd out 243 players at the Tour Qualifier. She played in 22 events on tour from 2000-01 before moving to her most recent position as an independent instructor at the Fiesta Inn Resort in Tempe.

As a junior golfer she was named an AJGA All-American four times from 1991-1994 and was the Idaho high school state champion in 1992 and 1995. She owns seven course records in Idaho and one in Montana.

Niemann-Dansie is a graduate of Arizona State and was a member of the 1997 and 1998 NCAA Sun Devil national championship golf teams in Tempe.

Niemann-Dansie is married to Bryan Dansie Jr. The couple just welcomed their first child Jordan on June 13, 2003.
