After day one of the NCAA West Regional Championships, the University of Arizona women's golf team is in a two-way tie for 10th place
In round one, No. 31 sophomore Manon Gidali led the Wildcats in a seven-way tie for 18th place.
Held at Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif., competition will take place Mon.-Wed., April 22-24.
Paired with No. 14 Arizona State and No. 15 Stanford for the final round of play, No. 7 Arizona finished tied for third with the Cardinal.
Heading into round three, No. 7 Arizona and No. 14 Arizona State share fifth place with scores of 572 (-4).
Before Arizona: Participated in 10 tournaments, one as an individual, as a member of the Texas A&M squad ... Posted the team's third-best scoring average of 75.53 ... Had five top-25 finishes ...
