2002-03 Season: Mary Roby Academic Achievement Award winner... First team All-Pac-10... UA co-MVP... Played in every game, starting all but one... Second on the team in scoring (16.2 ppg)... Finished the season 6th in the Pac-10 in steals (2.10 spg), 8th in three-pointers per game (1.58) and 7th in scoring... Arizona was 9-0 during the season when she scored 20 points or more... Reached double digits in scoring in 27 games, including 16 performances of 15 points or better... Held to just 7 points and 3 rebounds against Notre Dame (3/23/03) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament... Named to Pac-10 All-Tournament Team after averaging 14.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game during the three contests... 2001-02 Season: Was invited to tryout for the USA 20-and-Under National Team in May of 2002, but a last-minute ankle injury prevented her from attending the trials... Pac-10 Freshman of the Year... Pac-10 All-Freshman Team... UA Defensive Player of the Year... Was the top-scoring freshman in the Pac-10... Reached double digits in scoring in 19 of the season's 28 games... Finished the season 5th in the Pac-10 in three-point field goal percentage (.404), 6th in steals (2.04 spg), 8th in assists (3.32 apg), 9th in assist-to-turnover ratio (0.94) and 13th in scoring (12.3 ppg)... Was second on the team in scoring and fourth in rebounding (3.4 rpg)... Tallied season high of 6 rebounds in three different games... Held to just 2 points and 4 rebounds against Arizona State (3/2/02) in first round of Pac-10 Tournament... Season-high 21 points against USC (2/16/02)... High School: Two-time first team All-Illinois Class AA and All-Midwest Region selection as a senior at Dunbar Vocational Career Academy in Chicago, Ill.... Also three-time All-Red Superconference and All-Chicago choice... Three-time team Most Valuable Player... Registered 27.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 4.6 steals per game as a senior while leading Dunbar to a 27-9 mark and third-place conference finish... Set Dunbar school records for career points (2,489), assists (498) and steals (803)... MVP of Chicago All-Academic Basketball Team...
