In women's basketball action, Arizona and Georgia Southern will tip-off at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, November 11.
Bryce Sorrier is in his fourth year at the University of Arizona as an athletic trainer. He works primarily with women's basketball and also assists with football. During the 2009-10 season, he worked directly with the Wildcat men's and women's cross country and track and field programs. He is responsible for the evaluation, treatment, care and prevention of athletic injuries.
Prior to his arrival in Tucson, Sorrier worked as a student athletic trainer while receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. While in Athens, he worked primarily with the 2009 Capital One Bowl Champion football team, including 2009 NFL First Round draft pick Matthew Stafford. He also worked with the men's and women's track and field and equestrian teams.
A native of Statesboro, Ga., Sorrier graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. He received his master's degree in education from the University of Arizona in 2011.
