2013: Indoors, Urreiztieta clocked a personal-best time of 8.18 in the 60-meter hurdles, good for a first-place finish at the Lumberjack Team Challenge … At the MPSF Championships, he clocked a time of 8.29 in the preliminary round, taking 12th place but not advancing to the final … Outdoors, Urreiztieta’s season-best time of 14.89 in the 110-meter hurdles came at the Jim Click Shootout … He ran 15.15 at the Willie Williams Classic and 15.05 at the Mt. SAC Relays … He suffered a season-ending injury to his foot at the Mt. SAC Relays.

2012: Indoors, Urreiztieta clocked a personal-best time of 8.37 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Boise State Team Challenge and the Lumberjack Invitational … He finished in 10th place at the MPSF Championships in the preliminary portion of the event, clocking a time of 8.56 … Outdoors, Urreiztieta posted a personal-best time of 14.62 in the 110-meter hurdles at the Pac-12 Championships, taking ninth place in the preliminary round … At the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual, he finished in third place with a time of 14.67.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Canyon Del Oro High School, Urreiztieta was a first team all-conference and all-region selection his senior year … He was also first-team all-region and second-team all-city his junior year … The Dorados were state championship runners-up in 2010 and 2011 … Holds the school record in the 110-meter hurdles and was the 2011 state champion in the event … Received the President’s Award For Educational Excellence.
