Three-time All American, 1967-69. Western Athletic Conference singles champion in 1967 and 1968, and runner-up in 1969. NCAA singles quarterfinalists in 1967 as a member of UA tennis team which tied for third in NCAA tennis competition- the school's highest-ever team finish. In 1968 he was NCAA singles quarterfinalists and semifinalists in doubles with Dean Penero. In 1969 he was again NCAA singles quarterfinalist.
