TUCSON, Ariz. – Questions and answers with freshman Alexa Mamatas from Newport Beach, Calif.

Why did you decide to come to Arizona?

"I wanted to get out of California and have a new experience.”

 

What are you most impressed with the team this far?

"We work well as a team. We came together and we all support each other.”

 

What is your most memorable moment of the season so far?

"Winning our first home game because it set the tone for how well we were going to do this year."

 

What was your first impression of Coach Amato?

"He seemed like a good coach and I respected him. I knew he was going to change our program for the better.”

Do you have any game day rituals?

“I listen to the same music playlist.”

Season tickets for the 2013 campaign are still available with at a rate of $50, including admission for all nine home games. Discounts on season tickets are available for any Arizona faculty/staff, active military, seniors (55+) and youth. Groups with 15 or more can purchase group tickets for $4 per ticket.
