     Jim Gault put Arizona Gymnastics on the map, making it one of the nation’s elite programs during his eighteen years.  As Head Coach, Jim finished with a regular season winning percentage of just over 70%. His coaching produced two National Champions, ten Pac-10 Conference Champions and Wildcat gymnastics were named All-American 27 times. His teams appeared in eight NCAA post-season tournaments with a streak of seven-consecutive tournament appearances between 1987-1993. Jim was named Pac-West Co-Coach of the Year in 1986, the Western Collegiate Athletic Coach of the Year in 1984 and 1985, and the Pac-10 Co-Coach of the Year in 1989, 1990, 1993, 1994 and 1996. Jim was the founder of the United States Elite Coaches’ Association for Women’s Gymnastics and served as the chair for eight years. He is a member of the Amateur Athletic Foundation Hall of Fame and the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
