Harold McClellan HOF

In 1921 he was credited by the World-Telegram as the nation's leading scorer. His 124 points that season stood as the school's single season scoring record until 1954. In 1921, he dropkicked six field goals and an amazing 52-of-53 extra points. In 1920 "Nosey" kicked six field goals in one game against Campy Harry Jones. If major college records extended back that far, both the 52 extra points and the six field goals in one game would be all-time marks. In 1921 he played in Arizona's first bowl game, a 38-0 loss to the famed "Praying Colonels" of Centre College on Christmas Day in San Diego.
