Do you have any game day rituals?
“This season, my uncle passed away so I put his shirt above my locker before I go out.”

What is your favorite part about playing at Arizona Stadium?
“I think it’s getting prepared for the game and getting all that hype and seeing people excited for us to come out.”

What impact does Coach Rich Rodriguez have on you?
“Ever since Coach Rod came in, he has always talked about Hard Edge and I didn’t even know what that meant until the end of last season. I knew then Hard Edge is everything you do in life. You have to be the same through everything you do.”

What does Hard Edge mean to you?
“Hard Edge is not being lazy, doing everything with your best effort.”

How far have you come since your freshman year?
“I feel like I have come so far. I could have been kicked out, my grades were bad and I still fought through it. I had some people, like (academic advisor) Dave Corsi, help me out. He led me in the right direction and I graduated early, now I have this last season.”

What is your most memorable moment at Arizona?
“I remember moments with my d-line. We come out here every day and do the same drills, same thing, same routine every day but I get to see them every day and knowing that next year you are not going to be here, it’s kind of rough but it’s a good thing.”

How has the defensive line improved since last year?
“I feel like we have had more of a Hard Edge this year. Last year, we were brand new to the system. This year, we’ve worked together, the whole summer and the whole fall season.”

What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
“Our goal is to win out. Focus on the next game.”

What does Bear Down mean to you?
“Bear Down is another way of saying Hard Edge. Bear Down for the game and you have to Bear Down for your family.”
