Lauren Bauer was a member of a 2001 National Championship Softball Team, a two time first team All American and an Academic All-Pac-10 student athlete. At the time of her induction, Lauren was number seven in career batting average (.411), number five with hits in a season (104) and number four all time with hits in a career (349). After graduating with a degree in communications, Lauren competed as a member of the USA Blue Team that captured the gold medal at the Pan Am Qualifier in Maracay, Venezuela in 2001. For that squad she hit .452 with three homeruns and seven RBIs and was selected to All-Tournament Team. She then played in National Pro Fast Pitch league participating for the NPF All Star Tour team, the New York/New Jersey Juggernauts, and the Arizona Heat ending her pro career in 2005. While playing professionally, Lauren continued her education and received her law degree from Whittier College. in 2005 she as admitted to the California Bar and at the time of her induction she was criminal prosecutor for the Los Angeles District Attorney.
