     The last Women's Recreation Association (WRA) President, a member of the WRA board for three years, and a member of the ARETE Society (honorary for female athletes) for two years. She was the 1974 University of Arizona Outstanding Sportswoman. She was an all-around athlete competing in Volleyball (four years), qualifying for nationals, Basketball (four year starter), Softball (three-year starter), Badminton (three years), competing in both singles and doubles, Field Hockey (two years), and Fencing (one year), competing in the Tucson Grand International Fencing Tournament. She officiated volleyball and basketball from 1974-1976 and 1978-1979. She continues to play softball and basketball in recreational leagues.
