Renewals for 2014 football season tickets and Wildcat Club donations (including men’s basketball priority seating) are now available. The deadline to renew is Thursday, May 1 by 5 p.m. MST. Renew by the deadline to ensure you keep your seat location(s) and receive your Wildcat Club benefits.
Arizona Athletics has gone to paperless invoices and prefers renewals be made online here, but there are two other ways to renew for 2014-15:
- Call (520) 621-CATS (2287) during normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST, Monday – Friday)
- Visit the McKale Ticket Office on the south side of the arena during normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST, Monday – Friday)
Early Renewal Benefits Expired on March 7
Ticket prices in some seating areas have been reduced, while other areas have seen a slight increase. If you’re in a seating area that has a decrease, your renewal price will be the new lower price. As a benefit, fans located in areas with the slight increase were given the opportunity to lock in season tickets at the 2013 price if they renewed by the early renewal deadline of March 7.
$10 Service Fee Waived
$10 Store Credit to BearDownShop.com
Receive a promo code for $10 store credit when you purchase $50 or more worth of goods at BearDownShop.com, the official online store for Arizona Athletics.
Another incentive for renewing early was the annual “30 Prizes in 30 Days Renewal Sweepstakes" between March 1 and March 30. All you needed to do was renew before the end of March and you were entered to be included in the random drawings for the prizes. The prize list can be viewed at the link above.
McKale Renovation Contribution Map
Our men’s basketball program has been at the top of the polls all season and we can feel the excitement around Tucson, every time we step foot on campus and especially in the McKale Center. We want to encourage you to enjoy the ride. It isn’t every day that one of your teams is considered the best in the nation. It’s pretty special.
While you should enjoy the present, we’re also looking towards the future and that is why we’re working to execute the McKale renovation plan. One aspect of the plan has already been delivered in McKale’s new scoreboard. Next season, we’ll have all new seating and the addition of hand rails for safety. In addition, if fundraising continues to go well, we expect to improve amenities around the upper concourse, which are likely to include concessions and restrooms. We believe that all of these items will help improve your experience when you step foot in McKale.
As you’ve heard me say, this is a team effort and we all need to pull the rope in the same direction. So, in order to assist with the McKale renovation plan, we’re implementing a mandatory, one-time McKale renovation contribution to your men’s basketball season ticket renewal. The contribution, 80 percent of which is tax deductible, has been structured in the following order. Those with season tickets in Scholarship Row and priority areas A-D will have a contribution amount of $150 per seat, priority area E will be $100 per seat, priority area F will be $75 per seat and non-priority area N will be $50 per seat. We understand that we’re asking you to go above and beyond what you’re already doing to support the athletics department, but we do believe it is in the best interest of not only our programs, but also the fans who visit McKale Center.
Football / Men's Basketball Parking Map
We have seen an increase in Wildcat Club memberships and in the number of season tickets sold in recent years. When you combine that with a loss of more than 550 parking spaces due to new construction on campus, we’ve been forced to make some adjustments.
We wanted to make you aware as soon as possible that, although most members will have the same parking as last year, some will have changes. Parking is determined based on your annual Wildcat Club gift club level and the number of priority points you’ve accumulated. If you purchase your season tickets or pay your Wildcat Club membership by the May 1 deadline, you will be assigned parking based on your giving level, and subsequently, by your priority points. If you miss the deadline, parking will not be guaranteed at your level, but will instead be allocated based on remaining available spaces.
Parking will be assigned in the following order (parking maps are included for reference):
|FOR FOOTBALL||FOR MEN'S BASKETBALL|
|1. A EAST (217 spaces)||1. A McKale Front (30 spaces)|
|2. A West (101 spaces||2. Pool (117 spaces)|
|3. B1 (143 spaces)||3. A Enke (18 spaces)|
|4. B2 (50 spaces)||4. B (189 spaces)|
|5. B3 (17 spaces)||5. A 6093 (53 spaces)|
|6. B4 (48 spaces)||6. C (385 spaces)|
|7. C1 (223 spaces)||7. Gittings Lawn (160 spaces)|
|8. C2 (256 spaces)||8. C Media (120 spaces)|
|9. C3 (234 spaces)||9. D (1,224 spaces)|
|10. E (1,213 spaces)||10. D 6088 (58 spaces)|
|11. D (15 spaces)||11. E1 (350 spaces)|
|12. F (234 spaces)||12. E2 (160 spaces)|
|13. G (500 spaces)||13. E3 (120 spaces)|
|14. 2nd Street (30 spaces)||14. F (134 spaces)|
In addition, for football season ticket holders, some individuals qualify for a second permit. The location of the second pass is predetermined by annual Wildcat Club gift club level and can be referenced in the enclosed benefit parking map. Additional parking permits can be purchased above and beyond your complimentary pass, but those permits will be located in the 6th Street Garage.
If you are a Diamond or Platinum Wildcat Club member, we will identify a specific time and date, based on priority point order, when a Wildcat Club staff representative will contact you to identify your exact parking spot for football and/or men’s basketball.
We appreciate your continued support of Arizona athletics and its 500 student-athletes. We hope you realize how important you are not only to the success of our 20 programs, but to the experience we strive to provide for the young men and women who represent our fine University.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your Wildcat Club staff member or the ticket office at (520) 621-2287.
