     Four-year letter winner at the the UofA in cross country and track and field. Was UofA "Athlete of the Year" in 1977, a member of the Arete society, and twice recipient of the Moving "A". At time of induction, ranked in the sofa's top ten in the 800 meters (9th, 2:12.04), the 1,500 meters (6th, 4:23.22), the 3,000 meters (4th, 9:25.82) and the 5,000 meters (5th, 16:33.31). Was a member of the UofA's first women's cross country team in 1976. Set UofA and AIAW Region 7 records in the 5,000. Was an AIAW cross country championship qualifier in 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979 and qualified in track in 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1981. All-WCAA and All-Intermountain Conference selection in cross country in 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979 and All-American in 1979. Was conference champion in cross country in 1979. Was the U.S. champion in the modern pentathlon in 1982. Was a Sullivan Award finalist in 1982. At time of induction was competing as a world-class triathlete.
