She capped an All-American freshman year by winning the 1991 NCAA individual title, shooting a two over par 290 on the famed Scarlet Course at Ohio State. She was also Pac-10 runner up and was named National Player of the Year, the first Wildcat to earn that honor. Her sophomore year brought another All-American honor after winning the Pac-10 title, she held a three shot lead in the final round of the 1992 NCAA Tournament at the Karsten Course in Tempe. At the end of her UA career, she won seven individual titles as a Wildcat, finishing out of the top 10 only once, and helped Arizona to 14 team titles. She also was on the All-Pac 10 academic team both seasons.
