     One of the most dominant runners in school history. Amy is a 10-time All-American in both track and field and cross country, having won seven NCAA titles throughout her career. She also became the first woman in NCAA Division 1 history to win four NCAA titles in the same year. During the 1996-97 season, Amy became the NCAA cross country champion, the NCAA 5,000 meter Indoor Champion, the NCAA 10,000 meter outdoor champion and the NCAA 5,000 meter outdoor champion. Amy became the first Arizona female athlete to win the NCAA cross country title in 1996. During the the 1997-98 season, Amy captured the NCAA 5,000 meter indoor title, and the NCAA 5,000 meter and 10,000 meter outdoor titles. She was named NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the year in 1997 and 1998.
