     One of the greatest players in Arizona women's tennis history, Vicky Maes was a four time All-American and the nation's top-ranked player in 1996 and 1997. Vicky was the squads number one singles and doubles player throughout her career and was named the 1996 Pac-10 Conference Player of the year as well as being tabbed a four time first team All-Pac 10 selection. Vicky also won the 1995 Pac-10 Indoor Doubles Championship, the 1996 National Intercollegiate Clay Championships, and was a finalist in the 1996 National NCAA Rolex Championships  and the 1997 Pac-10 Indoor Championships. Vicky, a Belgium native, was ranked in their top national top 10 throughout the 1990's and won several Belgian National Women's Open tournaments. Vicky was named the Pac-10 All Decade Team and was the 1996 Arizona Women's Sports Foundation College Athlete of the Year.
